Must be 17+
Must be a US Citizen or permanent lawful resident
Must provide Driver’s License, SSN, and other verification documents
Must consent to and pass a background check if 18+
Must be enrolled in high school or have a high school diploma/GED
Some of our positions, such as Social Services, require a member to be enrolled in a relevant educational track
Start Dates:
KY HealthCorps program year starts in August and ends in July. There are seasonal start date options. Start enrollment the month before you’d like to start to guarantee your spot!

Hour Commitment
The program has various hour commitment options listed below. If you aren’t sure what is a good fit for you, one of our Success Coordinators will help you decide after you submit your application. You can take the Total number of hours and divide it up between your start and end date to find the average hour/week.

Sign Member Position Description
The Member Position Description (MPD) outlines service details. Every member receives a form specific to them to sign.

Sign Member Service Agreement
When we receive background check results from a member 18+ and citizenship verification approval (applicable to all members) we can set an official start date. Members will sign their MSA that verifies their pay, host-site placement, and service term.

Attend the PreService Orientation
The final step to fully enroll is to attend orientation. At orientation, members will complete tax forms and payroll documentation. We will train members on our timesheet system and review all program policies.
