What is AmeriCorps?
As an AmeriCorps Member you:
Are a national service member, not an employee, volunteer, apprentice, paraprofessional, or intern
Receive a living allowance based on your hour commitment. You do NOT receive a salary or wage
Make a commitment to National Service which includes showcasing the importance of service, demonstrating what it means to be an active citizen, and involving others in your projects or programs

FSH HealthCorps is..
There are many service options available, allowing members to find the best fit for their current schedule and career goals.
Positions range anywhere from CNA and Dietary Aid to AIT, Activities, and Social Services, with many others in between.
There is room in the program for anyone interested in becoming a healthcare professional. Members will gain valuable training, on-the-job experience, and career coaching so that when they complete their service they are ready to take their next best step toward their career goals.
FSH HealthCorps is a program designed to build up the next generation of healthcare providers.
Family Scholar House’s goal is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.
Members will complete their service hours in non-profit long-term care facilities and hospitals across the state. Members will gain specific experience in the role they choose while interacting with vulnerable populations.
